Embark on quite an adventure when staying at Frenchy's Adventure B&B. Alaska promises to bring excitement or relaxation, whatever guests are looking for. Guests of the inn will experience a great homey feeling when staying at Frenchy's. Guests will wake up in the morning to the sunlight and the wonderful aroma of a continental plus breakfast being cooked. After the hearty meal, guests are welcome to browse, relax in the inn, or simply go outside for some fresh air. Mingle in the common sitting room, head to the nearby indoor pool for some water fun, or visit some of the restaurants in the area for a good lunch or dinner. Whatever guest do, they will be glad to come home to Frenchy's Adventure after a long day. As a guest of Frenchy's Adventure Bed and Breakfast, the inn will introduce them to the many opportunities for an enjoyable Alaska adventure.
These tastefully decorated rooms are comfortable and cozy and create a feeling of home. All rooms come with alarm clock radio, coffeemaker with complimentary coffee, daily newspaper, hair dryer, microwave, modem/data port, telephone, and smoke detectors. Guests can relax in their rooms, in the fluffy bathrobes provided, and listen to the CD player that is available, or take a relaxing shower with a massage head. For a quick bite before bed, munch on the sweets that were left with the turn down service and then drift off to sleep. Rooms do have a shared bathroom. |

| Area Attractions
From the front door of the inn, guests will have easy access to the popular Tony Knowles Coastal Trail where they can begin their Alaskan adventures with a walk or a run; go biking or bird-watching; stroll along this beautiful trail and take in the scenery. Keeping alert, guests just might see an eagle perched atop a tall tree. In the winter, these same trails are groomed for cross-country skiing and host the annual Tour of Anchorage - a scenic ski race winding from one end of town to the other. Downtown Anchorage comes alive in the summer with hundreds of hanging baskets filled with marigold and lobelia which represent the colors of the state of Alaska. The Town Square Municipal Park, in the heart of downtown Anchorage, is spectacular and boasts more than 9,000 blooming plants. More information can be found downtown at the Log Cabin Visitor Center where visitors can pick up a walking map to guide them to activities and events all over town and the surrounding areas. The inn is conveniently located in midtown just minutes from the airport and downtown Anchorage yet close enough to parks and wooded areas for that special sense of being in Alaska. |
